Labor Day Tribute to All Our Heroes
Labor Day began as part of the labor movement in the late 19th century.
The labor movement led to reforms for better working conditions, for fair wages, standard working hours, and much more.
On Labor Day, we pay tribute to all those who work in various fields/ways to make our lives easier, healthier, and running smoothly.
This year’s Labor Day is likely to be different for many of us. Unlike times past, there likely won’t be large get-togethers and social gatherings.
But that does not mean we cannot celebrate.
We want to celebrate all the unsung heroes—people whose contributions likely go unnoticed, such as those who stock the store shelves, those who deliver/check out our groceries, those who make sure the places we visit are cleaned and sanitized, and all those who impact our lives positively in one way or another.
Today, we invite you to share your thanks and appreciation to all those who matter to you, to all those who deserve thanks for all they do, to all your special heroes
From all of us at the PCC, thank you to all our local heroes 🙂
