PCC READS
Childhood Literacy and Development
At the PCC, we follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines and incorporate literacy checks, right into the regular office visit. We promote the importance of reading to parents and children, by providing free books to patients. We believe this approach ensures that each child gets an early start to reading and also creates an opportunity for families to bond over a shared activity.
